BEEN HERE SEVERAL TIMES! Had the burger with a fried egg! Best MOM AND POP shop I've ever been too. It's always packed during lunch, so get here early!

The food was absolutely outstanding. The brisket burger exceeded every expectation and it’s easy to understand why it’s considered Mike’s favorite burger. The combination of the perfectly cooked beef patty, tender smoked brisket, and fresh coleslaw creates an incredible balance of flavors and textures. The coleslaw especially ties everything together and is definitely a must-have with the burger. Beyond the food itself, the owners were incredibly welcoming and courteous, creating an atmosphere that feels warm and personal, almost like being invited into their home for a home-cooked meal. Their hospitality adds just as much to the experience as the food. Without a doubt, this is one of the best places to eat in Kings County.

Visited Mike’s for the first time and I will definitely be back. The service over the phone was awesome and when I arrived the owner Patti was sooo friendly. The service was prompt and the establishment was clean and neat. I got to witness her engagement with the employees and she thanked them for finishing up my order. It’s very rare to see owners working the front line and treat their employees well. Witnessing this was awesome. Now the food….100/10! Bomb! Fresh ingredients, hot salty fries and a flavorful ranch. Hanford Burger was exactly what I was craving. I want to try everything on the menu now. I will be back soon.

Dropped by for dinner while visiting Hanford from Tulare. The legendary 6th star was earned yesterday evening! My wife had the OMB and I had a pastrami burger. Well I guess now we can't have either one of these anywhere else? Which is awesome! Exclamation because we've been looking for a great regular spot since we moved here. The atmosphere inside it was very nice. It's not a huge establishment so we expected a lot of noise. There wasn't. And to be able to sit across from someone and talk, not compete with background music, was amazing. The person behind the counter who would take our order had just gotten done storing her wings in the back closet. (After I'm done, you'll understand). So we entered and approached the counter, the menu overhead. A woman approached and we received a welcome. I let her know it was our first time so we probably need a minute with the menu. The smile that she returned let me know that not only did she understand the need to read a menu, but appreciated my response. Not sure if it was her kindness or the whole vibe of this place, but we were both able to see what we wanted on the menu almost immediately. Then shared a good laugh with the same woman over how quickly we had decided. Probably at this point needless to say, the ordering process was a breeze. She asked us for a name and we were off to the table. (After we ordered, we saw the same woman visit another table to see how they were doing. That led into a conversation on local happenings. And when she left the table, the people sitting there continued to talk about what they had talked about with her. So it wasn't just a polite filling the silence conversation. It was a real one.) There was no wait longer than what was needed to cook what we ordered. And even though we had given a name, we were surprised when the food was delivered to the table. Best burger in the 559! Milkshake is perfect and my son loved his pastrami burger! I did the Hanford. My wife had the turkey sandwich! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful place to grab a bite. Food is amazing along with the staff nothing but laughter and smiles when I go. Anyone looking for a big juice burger come try their 1lb burger.
